Day 40

Day 40: Create a Mural

This can be done on a big sheet of butcher paper or in the driveway. Think about what you want to paint and draw it out then color it in. You can use paint or crayons on the paper. Then you could hang it in your room or use it for the backdrop of a play you create. Or you can grab some sidewalk chalk and draw the mural on the sidewalk. If you get chalk wet the colors are much brighter. Finally, if it is hot a fun way to paint is with water. Get a bowl of water and some brushes and paint. The water will dry quick and it will cool you down. This is a great activity for younger children because there is no stained clothes or marks on the wall, and can be done on a cement basement floor or in a garage. Have fun with your Murals.
