Day 70

Day 70: Stargaze

Take some time before the summer is over to stargaze. This can be really fun and can teach kids a bit about science. I had a telescope when I was younger and loved looking at the moon and starts. Find out when the next meteor shower is and watch some shooting stars. Remember sometimes the best time to watch is at dawn. This is a great activity to incorporate into summer camping trips. You can find out more information about stargazing from the Salt Lake Astronomical Society, Bryce Canyon Stargazing Program, and Stardate.org.
