Day 46: Start a Friendship Bread
Summertime is a time for friends so why not share something wonderful with them? Have you ever made Friendship bread? It is an Amish bread that is started by one person and then sits for ten days. At the end of the ten days you pass some along to a friend and make a loaf of bread for you. Here is a link to the starter instructions and directions for what to do each day. Friendship bread is so yummy and sweet perfect for a summer snack. Maybe you could even try throwing in a few of your favorite summer berries into the batter right before you cook it (in 10 days). Enjoy!
