Day 61-64

Day 61-64: Nature Ideas-

Ahhh! The last few days have been filled with unplanned events that have have forced me to neglected my blog. Sometimes these things happen, life is unpredictable. However, now I need to catch up so today instead of just one activity you will get to read four. Then I will be all caught up. So here goes...enjoy!

Day 61: Make a nature journal. Your journal can contain pictures of critters you find in your back yard or at a park. You could create a leaf collection and sketch pictures of the trees they come from and then add the name of the tree. If you hike, you could draw pictures of the trail with different landmarks such as a waterfall, a pond, a large rock or a big tree. If you have a garden you can keep track of how your plants grow by adding the date they were planted, when they sprouted, and when the fruit and vegetables appeared. A nature journal can not only be fun, but can help you learn about the world around you.

Day 62: Climb a tree. Do you like to climb? Well find your favorite tree and try climbing it. WARNING: climbing trees can be dangerous. Make sure you have your parents permission and have a friend with you to watch you or to help if you get stuck.

Day 63: Find shapes in the clouds. Laying on the lawn staring at the clouds is a relaxing and fun summertime activity. What kind of shapes and pictures can you find in the clouds.

Day 64: Create a scavenger hunt. Have a race with your friends or siblings to see who could find 20 items the fastest, or time yourselves to see who can find the most items in a certain amount of time. Here is a list of items you can look for. Here is my list of outdoor items:
